F&M Park Summer Play Dates

Join other CG families each Tuesday morning this summer (starting 6/12) at 10:00 a.m. for some fun in the sun! Pack a picnic lunch and plan to stay as long as you'd like- this is a great park for kids of all ages.

This is very informal, no RSVP's or hassle of any kind, just a standing play date to look forward to all summer long.

Nickelodeon Great Family Fun Festival at Grand Tra... (Mar 30 - Apr 1, 2007)The first-time Nickelodeon Great Family Fun Festival is a weekend celebration designed and priced specifically for families. The two-day celebration will feature two live performances of the famous Nickelodeon Game Lab, a special kids carnival, activities with Nickelodeon characters including SpongeBob, Patrick, Dora the Explorer, Blue, Jimmy Neutron, and Grand Traverse Resort & Spa's loveable mascot Bogey Bear. Celebration for Young Children (Apr 28, 2007)Downtown Traverse City will again be hosting the Annual Celebration for Young Children. Hear the pitter patters of little feet with hundreds of little ones and their families will be strolling through Downtown and celebrating with activities throughout the area. The celebration is hosted by the DTCA in cooperation with the Grand Traverse Association for the Education of Young Children. Wigglers Story time (April 11-12, 18-19, 25-26)
Traverse Area District Library on Woodmere. All Wigglers Story times are presented at 9:30 and 11:00 am. on program days. These 35 minute programs are planned for preschoolers and their families. They include stories, rhymes and songs. An interpreter for the hearing impaired will be present at the 9:30 session each Thursday. Borders book store offers story time every Thursday at 10:30, including a snack/project.
Home Depot offers a kids workshop the first Saturday of each month, from 10-noon. Free wood-working projects for kids- super fun!
Check out the Y Gymnastics program too- next 6-week session begins the week of April 9th. Call 929-2869 for details. Classes available for kiddos as young as 1 year!

Easter Egg Hunt

The 2007 Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 31 from 10:00-1:00 in the Smith Training Room. Crafts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and of course age level Easter egg hunts will delight young Coasties of all ages.
